Yes Florida is nice and that is a huge plus! Also I would SB Extripate MB 3-4 Tainted Strike and then drop Nighthawk for the Crusader!
A funny combo I have used with Phyrexian Oblitrrator is Tainted Strike, because nobody blocks him that was 6 infect to the face. I also would recomend utilizing Phyrexian Crusader, dodges Bolt and Path, two common forms of removal. Good Luck!
History Major wow, that has to be fun!! I am currently enrolled at University of Florida for a Masters Degree in Busimess Administration with a Concentration in Hospitality and Restaurant Management. I work in the E.R as a Certified Medical Assistant, so I can completely understand budget constraints. I recently ordered 4 of each Misty's amd Tarn's and within a month's time they doubled in price, I paid like $45 per one in mint condition and had saved for some time to get them but a month after I got them they spiked. I say good luck to you with college and I hope to see you on the History Channel some time in the future.
I also recommend using 4 Goblin Guide, Spark Elemental, 4 Lightning Seperent, 4 Hell's Thunder, all of these cards fit a theme of come down swing and leave play. Kiln Fiend I do not think fits this deck aside from all the Instants amd Sorceries you have, but all those cards that I mentioned have Haste and Trampe and decent size bodies. They make an opponent shit balls because once they come down they swing and poof, unless someone plays Blind Obedience, Urabrask, Imposing Sovriegn, and/or anything that makes ur dudes enter play tapped then you are fine. I would also recommend using 4 Skullcrack MB
The card is a strong card and is worth its own price, Obliterator is 4 cmc, trample, 5/5 and damage that is done to him that sources controler sacks that many permenants. Obliterator is great on offense and defense. I umderstand a budget constraint, just was making a suggestion to inhance the deck and make it stronger! Needs more Obliterators since the name you choose or title refers to his flavor text. I would definatly run 4 Obliterator any day!!!
The Clasic Ball Flinging Deck, lol I would recommend adding 2-4 Elemental Apeal 4 mana for a 7/1 trample haste elemental kicker cost of 5 to make it a 14/1
I would Recommend Prognostic Sphinx to utilize with your Arbiter of Ideal seems like the best fit!
The thing is this deck does not need Mogis in the deck at all to win, you run enough creatures and devotion if you dont out aggro your opponent, they die to a fanatic or gray merchant. Idk its your deck dude all I am saying is Mogis is not needed by any means and you are correct all those lands may not be needed either just something you maye have wanted to do
I love the Deck Minus Land Base. I would much rather see the land base have this look:Land:244 Blood crypt4 Dragonskull Summit4 Blackcleave Cliffs2 Lavaclaw Reaches4 Swamp4 Mountain2 Nykthos, Shrine to NyxWith this mana base you will never have to worry about hitting either color even though 90% of the creatures are hybrid mana this ensures you can play any and all spells in your deck with little to no problems. I also feel like bringing you Terminate count to 4 and dropping and/or SB Mogis, I feel as though you already have plenty of 4-5 drops that more removal or control is much more preferred same with Fists of the Demigod
With all this hand control why not run a set of Shrieking Afflicktion?
Needs Blue, Goblin Electromancer, Draw/Filter. U then can add Delver and Ral Zarek to be a dick with Krenko Mob Boss. Reduce all your token produce to 1-2 mana instead of 2-3, you can also use a storm mechanic with Empty the Warrens Battoe Hymn and Past in Flames
1 card for scry says it all Thassa, God of the Sea, run 3 Thassa, and 3 Seer trust me you will enjoy it as much as I have
Beings this appears to be a legacy deck you could add 4 Caverm of souls, 3 Undead Warchief, 3 Cemetery Reaper, 3 Zombie Master, 3 Lord of the Undead, 3 Death Boron, 4 Gravecrawler, 4 Diregraf Ghoul, 4 Quest for the Gravelord, 3-4 Thoughtseize, 3-4 Cabal Therpy, 3-4 Inquisition of Kozilek, all of these will make your deck extremely potent, you could also add 4 Carnophage, 3-4 Entrails Feaster, adding cards like Shepherd of Rot can push a lot of damage, Phyrexian Arena is a great card to gain card advatage and I would highly recommend using a variety of all these cards especially since you are using legacy cards!Hope I was able to give some good insight.
There is a way to get Dark Depths off by turn 2 it uses Vampire Hexmage, sac the Hexmage and remove all counters from Dark Depths and have a 20/20 Maryt Lage Token with Flying into play, you can do this between turn 2-3 since hexmage is BB you may need Lotus Petal or Dark Ritual to ensure the turn 2 20/20 token either way it is disgusting!
Where is the Dark Depths at?
I would increase the Scavenging Ooze to 4 he synergizes extremely well with Lotleth Troll I myself have a Golgari Aggro that the two togethor and they trolled. I am not a hige fan of Jarad and Erebos in this deck I feel loke Dreg Mangler, Experiment One, and Whip would be a tad Better, even Vorolz seems better. Kolonian Hydra and whip can be detremental to any opponent too!
Infinite Mana Volcanic Geyser or Mind Grind for game.
