Deck Description

Magister Sphinx and Wound Reflection in the Graveyard + Open the Vaults = You Win.

(Rule 117.5. of the "_Magic: The Gathering_ Comprehensive Rules" states that "If an effect sets a player's life total to a specific number, the player gains or loses the necessary amount of life to end up with the new total.", which clearly says that there is a loss of life.)

Try using traumatize in the deck. Hitting yourself with a traumatize is bound to put the combo pieces in your graveyard. On the same idea, diabolic tutor might be a worthwhile option to grab Open the Vaults or traumatize to put combo pieces in your graveyard/hand.

You are mistaken sir, magister sphinx does not cause lose of life. "Life total becomes 10" = wound reflection does nothing

People. Before you comment, acting all high and mighty, maby you should figure out the facts. First of all, having 20 life, and then going down to 10 means that you have decreased in life by 10 this turn. And also, I asked a DCI judge so HA!
