Main Deck (60 cards)

Sideboard (11 cards)

Instants (8)

Land (3)

Submit a list of cards below to bulk import them all into your sideboard. Post one card per line using a format like "4x Birds of Paradise" or "1 Blaze", you can even enter just the card name by itself like "Wrath of God" for single cards.

How to Play

Aggressively mill them until they run out of cards using pretty much every card in the deck. If you get the chance, use things like consuming abbarition and Jace's Phantasm to put pressure on them in two different ways simultaneously.

In the case that you think milling them out won't work as well, sideboard in some more removal, some rogue's passages, and depending amount of creatures they have, some Wights might be helpful.

Deck discussion for Mill of Dimir

in this deck traumatize is dead weight, consider either archive trap or some sort of counter spell or kill spell.

thanks, I don't normally play mill but I thought I'd give it a go, I'll change that up now.

just got to think lets assume a reasonable curve of turn one jaces phantasm, turn two glimpse turn 3 mind funeral. By the time all thats over traumatize will probably only be getting 20 cards best case scenario. for 5 mana you probably want more. A good creature to consider (though you may not want more creatures) is wight of precinct six.

that's a good point, I guess wight would be good, but I think the main point of this deck is just to mill them out as fast as possible, so the Jace's phantasm is good as a 6 6 flyer for 1 that I can use to either kill or block with. But the wight I'm uncertain about, maybe I'll sideboard it in case of decks with a lot of creatures.

I'd swap out 2 of your Jaces for 2 moar Consuming Aberrations
yeah, Jace is great... But there is the whole Legendary/Planeswalker rulings!
+Consuming Aberrations are just awesome

Oh yeah, I keep forgetting about that. I think I'll swap one for one though, since if I can have a Jace I'd really like to get it, and I wouldn't be surprised if he dies fairly quickly.

True....
Also, I'd just sideboard 2 Rogue's Passage. If you are versing a deck that you can't mill out, then they are great when you have a lethal Aberration at your command!

Rogue's passage is such a fun card, yeah I'll definitely put that in the side board. Otherwise I'm not really sure what else to sideboard.

Removal is always good for sideboard. After all what if your up against aggro and turn 1 is a War Falcon and turn 2 is Thalia.

That would be very very bad, yeah I'll definitely put some removal in
