Deck Description

A friend of mine gave me the idea for this deck, you could say that he's a pretty fun guy.

Deck discussion for Tribal Fungi

You should probably think about playing another color (black has Deathspore Thallid and Grave Pact, white has Pallid Mycoderm; perhaps blue for Paradox Haze). Psychotrope Thallid isn't too efficient at drawing cards, Fecundity fits in perfectly though.

Oh, and playing Conspiracy for Fungus with a Sporoloth Ancient is even more fun!

I looked through all of the non-green fungi for making the deck, and I felt that adding another color wasn't worth using the single card. Mono green gives the deck everything it needs to perform well.

Also, do you mean Conspiracy for Fungi and Sporesower? Because Sporoloth Ancient gives all creatures the saproling spawning ability, getting the spore tokens on them is the problem.

I'll think about adding in Fecundity, although I don't like that it works on other players as well.

I'm also considering adding in Coat of Arms, since that works great in pretty much any tribal deck.

Thanks for the advice.

The thing about Fecundity is that it means you don't have to spend mana and save on creatures; usually your opponents' creatures won't die quickly anyway as they mostly interact with 1/1's.
Have you thought about replacing Sprout with Sprout Swarm?

Fecundity would work well if I were to using the Saprolings as an attacking force, but they're mainly meant to serve as fodder for Fungi and when Mycoloths come into play. Also, I can't use Worldly Tutor on it because it's an enchantment. Not having to pay for the draw is nice, though. I also originally had Sprout Swarm in here, but I swapped it out because I wanted something to give me cheap blockers early on. After I get Doubling Season or a Mycoloth into play getting more tokens shouldn't be a problem.

The point is that if you, say, sacrificed a Saproling to Utopia Mycon, you would get the mana AND be able to draw a card. Same goes for any sacrificing ability.
