Card discussion for Sprout Swarm

Probably the best convoke card in existence.

It can be played multiple times in one turn (buyback), at the end of the opponent's turn (instant), and it helps pay for those multiple casts (convoke + previous casting's Saproling).

Run this in a deck with a way to untap creatures (Intruder Alarm) and / or creatures that untap themselves (Midnight Guard & Nettle Sentinel) and you have yourself a potential infinite combo.

"When calculating a spell’s total cost, include any alternative costs, additional costs, or anything else that increases or reduces the cost to cast the spell. Convoke applies after the total cost is calculated."

What this means is you can use convoke to pay for the Buyback side of this card. So all you need to do is declare that you're using Buyback, which will increase the cost to {4}{G}, then use creatures to pay for it.

*Note* Buyback may increase the cost, but it does not increase the converted mana cost. The cmc of this card is always 2.
