Decreased the overall cost of the total deck but you are right they are great pseudo mana ramp!
rather than axbane guardian I would try elvish mystic because he is faster and will most likely have the same effect.Sylvan Primordial is another great card to finish your curve since things like frenzied tilling will ramp you to them.
You think so I play tested with that guy a few times he became a bit expensive! maybe 2 in the deck?
You are running satyr hedonist, which means you can actually get him as soon as turn 3 if you were to run elvish mystic in your deck.My friend actually runs a deck just like this but using sylvan caryatid, elvish mystic, and sylvan primordial and it works VERY well. (4-1 at most FNMs and such.)
