An idea for a deck I want to build but haven't gotten cards for yet, intended for kitchen table play. It's an elf aggro deck with creature kill, Beastmaster's Ascension and Descent Into Madness. Harmonize and Kozilek's Predator are here to make sure we have lot of creatures to trigger Beastmaster or feed to Descent. Do you think this idea can work? It could be a more streamlined elf aggro deck, but I wanted to make something a little more fun and a bit less predictable. Please let me know if you see any problems though : )
In the first 2-3 turns, play like an elf aggro deck. Cast a 1st turn elf, ramp, cast lords and swing whenever possible. 4th turn, can remove a creature if necessary or play either Beastmaster or Descent. With either of these in play, generate as many creatures as possible and kill big threats or blockers while continuing to attack. If Beastmaster comes out early, the elves should be able activate it the turn after it comes down. If we play a 4th or 5th turn Descent, Imperious Perfect, Kozilek's Predetor and Harmonize can protect us with card advantage while the opponent's board is punished.
