High price tag, slow, clunky, these aren't great qualities to have for a magic deck. However, putting those faults beside, although a lot has to go right devotion-wise to get all the gods in gear (active), their abilities alone might be enough to at least keep other players in check or apply some pressure directly or indirectly. For example, Mogis causes each player to lose 2 life every upkeep, Erebos won't allow opponents to gain any life at all, and Keranos can send 3 damage to creature or face. Other gods' abilities only do very specific things mostly for you and don't impact other players at all such as Karametra or Xenagos. Besides clogging the deck with pretty much every god wizards has ever created, the rest of the deck is pretty much ramp spells, tutors, and board wipes/removal...pretty typical for a 5-color commander deck.
