Just ramp up to start off. Having an elf or two in hand is a nice way to start off. Best creatures to have around are Elvish Piper and Zoologist, since they could have you dropping huge creatures for almost no cost. Get ruric out as fast as possible, hes your best creature for this deck and will really be there to save your ass
