Deck Description

Mono-Black multi-player deck based on sacrificial power.

Key Cards:
Liliana Vess
Grave Pact

The way it works:
Get Grave Pact into play as fast as possible and then start playing cheap creatures (that kills themselves) to make your opponents sacrifice their creatures (using Barter in Blood and Innocent Blood too of course). When that has been going on long enough to make Liliana's ultimate possible just reanimate all dead creatures (that will lead into a huge amount of sacrifices) and you will most likely have the only present army in play.

If you want to make it "legal" you can exchange the Demonic Tutors with some Diabolic Tutors or so.

Deck discussion for Gifts of the Grave

Well one problem is that most of the creatures, when they are the first creature that comes into play, sacrifice themselves, which is repeated until you play Abyssal Gatekeeper. That leaves you defenseless. I'd suggest Quest for the Gravelord and replacing Accursed Centaur with some kind of a cheap black thing. Also, I'd remove one (or maybe even two) Liliana Vess for more creatures or Demonic Tutors.

OK, I exchanged a Liliana with a tutor. And about those creatures yes they kill themselves, that's the point. But the only of them you can play before Grave Pact is Abyssal Gatekeeper. That is why Grave Pact is a so important card in the deck. I agree that my creatures leave me defenceless, but that is the exciting part about it.
This deck was created to be fun playing with as it is made as a multi-player deck, not to win every time. I might also consider Quest for the Gravelord to this deck, but since it is a token it becomes useless when it dies (and it certainly will).
And on a side note, Abyssal Gatekeeper is in the deck to die and because of Grave Pact it becomes two creatures for three (considering one of the opponents managed to get that many creatures out before they were killed)
