Deck Description

So, I decided to put my Legacy Eggs deck back together. If anybody got any inputs on how to improve it, be my guest.

So, eggs, one of the most dreaded combo decks. Not because of the power of the deck, but rather because it takes ages to actually play against, usually takes many minutes ti combo out, but it is tricky to pull off so stay tuned for the How to Play part.

How to Play

If you start with a lotus bloom in hand, suspend it, and combo off when it resolves if you can. You can usually combo off on turn 3 or 4.

The first couple of turns you want to be playing chromatic spheres/stars, skycloud eggs and such.

On the combo turn there are some things to consider:

Do you have a Pact of Negation?

It is pretty nice to have one in case they try to counter the Second Sunrise, but if you use this card, you are pretty much all in on the combo turn, but if you fizzle midway you are pretty screwed anyway, so I like the inclusion. You can run Silence maindeck instead, but that costs mana, so I prefer the pact.

How many cards can you draw right away?

Ideally, you want at least 3-5 draw effects on the board to start off with.

Do you have access to Second Sunrise or Faith's Reward?

If you don't have either of those in hand, you can attempt to combo if you are being pressured, but it is not recommened.

Do you have a Lotus Bloom in play?

If you have 1 in play from suspend, all the power to you, but if not you need to make sure you can get one in play.

Can you hardcast a Reshape?

See above for reason why it is important to ask yourself this.

Do you have a Ghost Quarter in play?

Ghost Quarter is actually an important card as it thins your deck for lands and it adds 1 mana in form of returning land cards with Second Sunrise or Faith's Reward. Yes, you blow up your own lands.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

You almost always want to sacrifice a Chromatic Star to your Reshape as that still draws you a card, and you almost always want to find a Lotus Bloom.

The Conjurer's Bauble lets you reuse your second sunrises, which is the primary target for those.

The idea is to use the artifacts and Second Sunrise/Faith's Reward to draw your entire deck and then keep returning and blowing up Pyrite Spellbomb with Second Sunrise, Conjurer's Bauble, and Lotus Blooms.
