Deck Description

Shadow creatures are the decks backbone.
Hissing Miasma is added to discourage the opponent to attack you with low power creatures and the removal is there to take care of the bigger threats.
If playing against a mono-black deck it is possible to add removal that will also work against that.
Dash Hopes is there just because it is a nasty, and most likely, unexpected card.
Stronghold Overseer is the late-game finisher card that most likely will make the nearly unblockable army even stronger and secure victory.

Constructive criticism appreciated (besides it is just casual so it is not supposed to win every time I use it)

The biggest problem about this deck might be the lack of defence, but as the saying goes "the best defence is a strong offence".

Not bad. I can personally say that Dash Hopes has helped me win on multiple occasions. 5 life doesn't sound like a lot whe you have 19 or 20...

Dash Hopes is one of my favourite cards, simply because it is a counterspell and it is black! And yes those 5 life, people regret losing them and chose to let their spell get countered in later games and especially if it is second time in one game.
