As you might have noticed this deck got quite the high curve topping out on a whooping two mana! Of course a solid mana-base is needed if you are ever going to achieve such high amounts of mana, and Dark Rituals are added in case extra mana is needed. Ok, I am not fooling anyone, this deck is aggro, pure aggro, play dudes and turn them sideways to win, yeah, pretty basic actually...
You want to start out as aggressively as possible, which means casting a Dark Ritual and throwing your creatures in their face.You always want to pay life for Vault Skirge if you cast it at any other point than a top-deck, since that other one mana probably has a better use.Predator's Gambit and Unholy Strength are best buddies with Vault Skirge, since it got lifelink. However, don't stop yourself from boosting one of your shadow creatures either.Bump in the Night is there to add reach, since you might need help getting that last bit of damage in before they kill your creatures or you.Sign in Blood is to refuel your mana hungry V12 engine that goes 0.5 miles to the gallon, or kill off your opponent if they are below two life.Sideboard is made to combat annoying blockers and combo decks, unfortunately Hymn to Tourach is banned in my pauper group, so I am stuck with Wrench Mind.Oh, and btw, Thornbow Archers are replacing the Carnophages that occupied that slot before.Now, what are you waiting for!?
