The combination of: Howling Mine, Temple Bell, and Dictate of Kruphix serves two purposes. The first purpose if triggering Jace's Erasure and Sphinx's Tutelage, the second is to make sure you draw your stall cards in form of: Downpour, Frost Breath, Whelming Wave, Evacuation, and Sleep.Basically you want to control your opponents board, by tapping it down. Downpour and Frost Breath are best used in the opponent's pre-combat mainphase, never on your turn. Sleep is there to lock down the board when Downpour and Frost breath is no longer enough. Whelming Wave and Evacuation is your sweepers for when sweeping is what you want to do, blue style.
