Deck Description

Blue control, red burn
Updated to have another win scenario. Used to rely mostly on Pyromancer Ascension and/or Furnace of Rath. Now has more Ascensions and uses Paradox Haze to get the Reality Strobes and Arc Blades going with or without the Ascension.

Deck discussion for Blue Red Burn

I like it but it seems like it would need draw power. because unless you get a spellblade there is none. Also distrotion strike isn't particularly useful unless you get a spellblade (except for charging pyromancers ascension). arc blades or reality strobe strike me as going very well into your deck as every time it is played with pyromancers ascension charged you will get more and more of them.

You're right. I think a combination of Ponder and/or Preordain might be better in place of the spellblade and distortion strike.

I also like your idea with the arc blade and reality strobe. By the time their suspends are going off, the ascension should have enough charges. Thanks for the tips.

I checked the rules on copying spells. After a spell(instant or sorcery) copy(token) leaves the stack it is destroyed. So the spell could be copied for the 2 damage or the bounce, but when the copy is to be re-suspended, it would be destroyed.

Even though it can't be multiplied each time as previously thought, it is still a nice combo with Paradox Haze.
