Deck Description

Mostly built already, just trying to put in some creatures in place of instants and sorceries. Help is very much welcomed.

The sideboard is my commander and cards I don't have yet.

How to Play

I just do..... Lots of graveborn, and fetching, hopefully enterprising on Jarad or Trostani. Plus the disgusting Ghave/Ashnod's Altar combos. There are like five of them.

Deck discussion for Ghave, Guru of the Dead

Hmmm... Interesting enough. Spam creatures while keeping down the enemy's field? My advice would be to add avacyn and use her and Novablast Wurm in a REALLY gay combo. You also dont really need Ulamog... And if you are looking to make a Saproling deck there is one card that I can't remember that makes all saprolings forests and all forests Saprolings. Awesome enchantment for a mana ramp. Another piece of Advice is to take out Elspeth Tirel and replace her with Elspeth, the Knight-Errant in order to make basically everything indestructable. Oh and Diabolic Revelation might come in handy.

Ironically, all the cards you speak of I have and have play tested in here.

My only reason for having Avacyn out of play, sadly, is because she hosts a position in a Kaalia deck, and I am not the biggest fan of sharing cards between decks, which was one of my reasons for playing primarily commander.

Ulamog only holds a place to counteract mil based decks, though from experience, I have never come across one in my play. I agree with you, and I think he'll slide back onto the sidelines of non-play for now.

The saproling/forest enchantment could be extremely useful, and deadly, though I have never wanted to use it as board sweepers would send all my lands to the graveyard, and experience leaves me at a point to leave it out for now. I think I would only play it if I had an constant sac outlet for it.

Honestly, Elspeth Tirel remains as she can create three tokens compared to the Knight-Errant's one, and Never have I ever been able to get her ultimate to go off. I have tried for games on end, but Elspeth Tirel is much more versatile in the position. I do have an extra copy floating around and don't see why she couldn't be put back in, especially with the (hopeful) addition of doubling season.

Diabolic revelation I was about to cut in the corporeal version, until a friend, who while using this deck, turned around to slap me in the face in the face of clear victory to win, so as you recommend, it will maintain it's holding here.

Thanks for your consideration, and Best of Luck to you!

I get how it would be scary to turn all your creatures into land but I have yet to face a deck that was able to destroy all lands in a clear wipe without severely hampering themselves... And the Elspeth, Knight-Errant is able to pull out a soldier a turn for a plus one which is awesome. And I totally understand the whole not wanting to share cards between decks haha. I play basically only Commander and Legacy and it is hard to decide what decks to keep and what to trash. What's your favorite leader?

My favorite commander.... Jeez.... Honestly, I have to go with Kemba, Kha Regent. I just enjoy playing her more than any other, maybe just from my bias towards white, but it is just fun to play.

She is pretty awesome haha. Ever heard of Riku of the Two Reflections?

I have heard of Riku, actually bought the deck (which I regret only because I chose it over the last Kaalia deck at the time) but could never get into Riku that much. His deck got scrapped almost immediately. I think it had to do a lot with him not having white in his color identity. I eventually ended up trading him away for something or another.
