Main Deck (1 card)

Creatures (1)

Sideboard (0 cards)

No sideboard found.

The owner of this deck hasn't added a sideboard, they probably should...

Submit a list of cards below to bulk import them all into your sideboard. Post one card per line using a format like "4x Birds of Paradise" or "1 Blaze", you can even enter just the card name by itself like "Wrath of God" for single cards.

Deck discussion for Here To help

I wanted to make a deck around Pariah.
First I thought of Fog Bank.
Enchant the Fog Bank with Pariah.
Sounds awesome.

Here is the question:
My opponent has 3 1/1 creatures.
I have Fog Bank enchanted with a Pariah.
I choose not to block the 3 1/1 creatures.
So the damage goes to the Fog Bank and he dies.
Why is that since Fog Bank doesn't take any combat damage?
Is redirected damage not considered combat damage?

One make him invincible two it should still be considered combat damage.

I could make him indestructible, true. That is just an extra card and extra mana.
And I am not sure if it is considered combat damage or not...but I have seen on forums and Magic Gatherer where people say Fog Bank would die.

There are better cards that say damage not combat damage.

Back to the original question:
Does a Fog Bank die if it had Pariah attached to it, and opponent's creatures go throw unblocked?

Some say yes, some say no.

Always wanted to build a deck around Pariah.
Now that I found Stuffy Doll. My mind is a turning.

So, here is another question. Stuffy Doll enchanted with Pariah.
My opponent attacks me for 5 damage.
What happens?
An infinite loop? 5 damage to my opponent?

He would need something like guilty conscious and pariah to go infinite that way he takes damage from the pariah and then deals damage to them. After that guilt kicks in and he hits himself which makes him.hit them which starts the loop.

I have it...just need the answer to these 2 questions;

1) Fog Bank enchanted with Pariah. You have 3 damage coming at you. You do not block. Damage is redirected to Fog Bank. Does Fog Bank die?

2) Stuffy Doll enchanted with Pariah. You have 3 damage coming at you. You do not block. What happens>?

Thanks!

Instance one: pariah kills fog bank (it's damage done by combat to you prevented then dealt to the fog bank. This one is easily up for argument since it's redirected combat damage but not something I would bank on since people will always argue it for both sides equally)

Instance two: pariah hurts stuffy doll he hurts the opponent.

Instance three:

Give that stuffy doll this http://gatherer.wizards.com/Pages/Card/Details.aspx?multiverseid=46464
And pariah and you win as soon as you are dealt damage.

Two decks I've been trying to make viable and as close to being top tier competitive in their respective formats as they can be. Here is one

And the other

Here is another question, friend.

I have a Prophetic Flamespeaker in play. He attacks and goes unblocked. I get to exile top two cards from my library, and can play those two cards the same turn. I draw:
A) Gitaxian Probe
B) Fireblast

Rules state, regarding Prophetic Flamespeaker:
"The card is exiled face up. Playing it follows the normal rules for playing that card. You must pay its costs, and you must follow all applicable timing rules. For example, if it’s a creature card, you can cast it only during your main phase while the stack is empty."

Question is: Do I have to pay the mana cost for Gitaxian Probe, or can I pay the alternate casting cost of 2 life? Same with Fireblast, do I have to pay the mana cost or can I pay the alternate casting cost of sacking 2 mountains?

Im no judge but i have played for awhile and "you must pay its costs" seems to me that you could pay life and sac mountains because those are "alternate costs" so like another option of a cost you can use to cast the card. But i have no actual rules text to back me up

If we can decide that for sure...than I am going to try to make a Prophetic Flamespeaker deck.

Okay, okay. I am really crowding this page. Sorry.
1 more question.
Prophetic Flamespeaker reads:

Double strike, trample
Whenever Prophetic Flamespeaker deals combat damage to a player, exile the top card of your library. You may play it this turn.

So, If I attack with Prophetic Flamespeaker and he goes unblocked. He has Double Strike. So, his first hit does damage to your opponent and you draw and exile a card from the top of your library.

Question is this: Do you get a chance to play that exiled card before Prophetic Flamespeaker hits with his second hit to the opponent?

What I am asking is this.
I attack with Flamespeaker, he goes through unblocked for his first hit, I draw and Exile Mutagenic Growth. Can I instantly play it to pump up my Flamespeaker +2/+2 BEFORE Flamespeakers second hit damages the opponent?

I am pretty sure it can. Just not certain.

Just saw this for some reason and he exiles on card then the other. If the first one is an instant you can cast it in response to damage at regular speed I believe.
