Why cast a single spell on a single critter? Just have it so that single spell targets all your critters.
Get them Precursor Golems out and then make, like, a billion of em with the Cackling Counterpart/Rite Of Replication. Then make the billion golems like a billion/billion with Sigil Blessing. Got your opponent messin' with your golems? Cast a Sheltering Word to make your billions of golems gain hexproof and gain a billion life.

I love the concept, but a single removal spell is instant death for your board if you have a precursor out. Maybe include more protection, like blossoming defence and ranger's guile, so you can't get wiped too easily.
