Caged Sun, Gauntlet of Power, Extraplanar Lens, and Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx. With those 4 cards the amount of mana you can produce is beyone rediculous. Make your mountains tap for 4 mana each? Yes please!

Typically cards that are good in other formats, don't do as well in EDH. For example, Doomed Traveler. Traveler is one of the best cards from Innistrad. Every single human deck and every single white deck and every single spirit deck and any deck that could run any, ran 4. In EDH, it's W for a 1/1 that dies then gains flying. There are better cards. Goblins pride themselves on being small, numerous, and fast, and small and fast isn't as good a strategy in EDH since games take much longer than Modern or Legacy games. So 1 drop 1/1s that just get an effect when they die are really just wasted space. I'd suggest Voracious Dragon and/or Preyseizer Dragon. I have a list of cards that are nice to run in EDH so if you want ideas, take a look.

Furthermore, I'd suggest some boardwipes. Black White and Red have the best boardwipes and when Red boardwipes it WIPES the board. Creatures. Artifacts. Lands. Permanents. Everything must go. Apocalypse, Bonfire, Decree of Snnihilation, Obliterate, Blasphemous Act, there are a ton.

On a similar note, put in better burn spells. Why run Lightning Strike when you can run Lightning Bolt. If you do end up putting in a large chunk of Instants, consider Isochron Scepter.

I also suggest a lot of Artifact spot removal cards of which, Red has an unending number of. You can also run Permanent removal cards to cover enchantments as well.

Coat of Arms. It's a Goblin tribe, why on earth would you not run Coat of Arms?

If you want some nice cards, you can take a look at my Purphoros EDH. There are a lot of great cards in there so have at it.

Hope this helped!

Thousand-Year Elixir, Illusionist's Bracers, and Rings of Brighthearth. Definitely put those in. Also, there are a few cards that all monocolored decks need. Caged Sun, which you have, Extraplanar Lens, Gauntlet of Power, and Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx. With all of these cards out the amount of mana you can produce is laughable. With the artifacts alone you can cast Blightsteel Colossus by tapping 3 Plains. Worth it.

Other than those it's a great deck. Some suggestions:

Solemn Simulacrum: Ramps and draws you a card. What's not to like?

Pentarch Paladin: Great for controlling the board especially against monocolored decks.

Intrepid Hero: This card can really keep an aggressive deck from summoning their big beaters, giving you time to set up your huge array of +1/+1 abilities.

Deathless Angel: WW make something indestructible. Can be a political card if you have mana open.

Vedalken Orrery: Give all your things flash. Nice utility card.

Sword of Feast and Famine: Why settle for a regular Baneslayer Angel when you can have a 7/7 Baneslayer Angel that has pro Black and Green, makes opponents discard, and, last but not least, DOUBLES YOUR MANA?!

Konda's Banner: You have a fairly large number of legends so if you slap it on Avacyn your creatures will get the same effect as Honor of the Pure but your angels will also get an extra boost.

Return to Dust, Disenchant, Spine of Ish Sah: Enchantment/Artifact removal.

Condemn, Oblation: There are few things more satisfying in this world than condemning a Rafiq swinging for lethal.

Soul Foundry: Why have one Baneslayer Angel when you could have 2?

Sphere of Safety: Ghostly Prison except they pay X where X = # of enchantments you control.

Arrest, Pacifism: Sometimes Destroying or Exiling a commander doesn't do the trick since they can just summon it again 2 turns later from the command zone. But with Arrest, Teysa shall bother you no more since she can't exile your creatures.

Renounce the Guilds: Makes someone sac their commander. You on the other hand, are totally unaffected.

All of these are to be used at your discrepancy. Really cool use of all of white's +1/+1 abilities.

Ah, true, Thrull can hit PWs, hadn't thought of that. PWs aren't very prominent in my playgroup so I don't run it but I agree, the ability to -1 a PW for just 2 life is great. And Theros just spoiled a new card which is just Murder but it also hits Planeswalkers so there ya go. But yes, it's hard for mono black to deal with Planeswalkers aside from Argentum Armor and such.

Hmm... I would probably take out Gather the Townsfolk and Timely Reinforcements. Gather's spot can be better used as something like Feast and Famine that will buff up Anax. As for Timely Reinforcements, You make a lot of tokens with this deck so you're almost always going to have more creatures than most people so the most it should do is gain you 6. Now, those two swap out for Sword and the Priest, but for Aurelia and Balefire Liege you need to take out some higher cmc cards. I'd say Storm Herd and Chancellor of the Forge. Storm costs 10 mana and by turn ten everyone's going to be set up, rolling, trying to get combos off, aggressive decks will be swinging, and its a very nice target for a mana leak. With only 3 life gain cards in the deck once you are able to cast it you won't have anywhere near 40 life plus, someone can just Austere command Creatures cmc 3 or less and that's 10 mana and a turn down the drain. Chancellor on the other hand, is one of those cards that's really good if you're winning. If it's in your opening hand, great, you get a 1/1 and a dead card in hand for the next 7 turns.

In short, my suggestion of cuts is:
Gather the Townsfolk -> Sword of Feast and Famine
Timely Reinforcements -> Banisher Priest
Storm Herd -> Aurelia
Chancellor of the Forge -> Balefire Liege

Some cards I forgot to mention earlier:

SWIFTFOOT BOOTS: You NEED Swiftfoot Boots. Every single EDH needs Swiftfoot Boots. Boots are so hard to find because Commander players hoard them. If nothing else put Boots in this deck.

Boros Signet: Just take out a Mountain for it. It ramps. It fixes mana. I'm a real fan of the Signets but hey, its up to you.

Solemn Simulacrum: 4 mana 2/2, fetches you a land, draws you a card if something big blocks him. What's not to like?

Wear // Tear: At its worst it's Disenchant or Shatter. At it's best it's both. Only 3 mana. Great Artifact/Enchantment removal.

Dolmen Gate: Prevent all combat damage to your creatures. 2 mana. Straight, sweet, and to the point.

Sudden Disappearance: Blink someone's creatures and kill 'em while they can't block.

Fervor: Everything you have has Haste. Great red card.

Signal Pest: Get an extra battle cry. Only 1 mana.

Three Dreams: The deck has a lot of game ending Auras. Tutor for any three you want!

Crystal Chimes, Skull of Orm, Mine Excavation, Auramancer: All cards that take Enchantments from your yard to your hand in different ways; Chimes, Mine, and Auramancer all only work once but the Skull works every turn, however much more expensive.

Decree of Justice, Entreat the Angels, Nomads' Assembly: All large scale token makers.

Other cards I recommend removing:

Warstorm Surge: It isn't as good as you want it to be. Trust me. It's been in several of my decks and the only one it works in is Rakdos where I summon a 5/5 or three every turn. It's just not worth the six mana.

Promise of Bunrei: Again, not as good as you want it to be. Sure it turns one of your creatures into four but all someone has to do is naturalize it and even so, it only works once.

Strata Scythe: Better in a Mono colored deck. There are much more useful equipments. Like Swiftfoot Boots. Put in Swiftfoot Boots. Other than Boots, Fireshrieker, Darksteel Plate, Infiltration Lens, Explorer's scope, Kusari-Gama, Trailblazer's Boots, Skullclamp, there are loads of great artifacts.

Spectral Procession: It's Gather the Townsfolk but 1 more mana and you get an extra token.

Nice deck, but it needs some work. Shirei has a really neat mechanic and it works exceptionally well with black. A lot of the cards in here are wonderful, but some just don't pull their weight. Like Bottle Gnomes, yeah gaining 3 life every turn is nice, but there are better cards. Some things I suggest you add are:
Augur of Skulls: Recursive discard and he can be a chump blocker.
Big Game Hunter: Blow up a big creature every turn. If he doesn't have a target, then great, nothing's going to deal you anything more than 3 damage. Sounds like a win-win.
Bogbrew Witch, Festering Newt, and Bubbling Cauldron: Why sacrifice a creature to give something -1/-1 when you can sacrifice a creature to give something -4/-4, gain a bunch of life, and make opponents loose life?
Cadaver Imp: Shirei might not be able to recur everything in your yard so Cadaver Imp is just like a walking disentomb.
Deathgreeter: Everything's gonna die anyways, why not gain some life. 1/2 of Blood Artist.
Liliana's Shade: Finds you a swamp of two every turn and in a pinch it can trade with a big creature with all those extra swamps.
Liliana of the Dark Realms: It's a mono black deck. She finds you lands, she quadruples your mana, what's not to like?
Exsanguinate: Gain a bunch of life and possibly kill some opponents.
Extraplanar Lens, Caged Sun, Gauntlet of Power: With the four of them out, all your swamps tap for BBBB each. They belong in every mono colored deck ever.

I suggest you take out:
Diamond Valley: You don't need to gain life that badly.
Shizo: The only legend you have that is worth using this on is Maga and she's not even that good.
Undiscovered Paradise: You can only make black mana anyways so its not worth it. Just put in a swamp.
Myr Sire: At its best ita 2 1/1s. There are better effects you can get.
Maga, Traitor to Mortals: Yeah Shirei can bring her back, but then she dies immediatly because she's a 0/0.
Bottle Gnomes: You have much better life gain in this deck than 3 every turn.
Death Cultist: It's ok, but there are better creatures to stick in here. 1 life isn't going to do a whole lot against most people. A lot of EDH decks have life gain at least in some form, and the ones that don't are designed to work on very little life.
Thrull Parasite: Not a lot of decks center around counters and when they do, its Ghave, Guru of Spores and you can not possibly remove all 47 or so of his counters with Thrull Parasite.
Soldevi Adnate: Since you probably don't want to be using this on Harvester of Souls, the most you'll get out of it is 1 or 2 mana and most of what you cast is that much any ways.

Nice deck, love the deck. Definately add some new Theros cards once the set comes out. My suggestions of cards to add are:

Aurelia, the Warleader: Nice P/T and with Anax she can become a real powerhouse. Also you get to attack twice and that might be nice.

Bathe in Light, Rally the righteous, Wojek Siren: All of them have the old boros ability which pumps a creature and all creatures with that color so if you pump up Anax not only will your army get the boost from the card, but also from her(him? them?).

Sword of Feast and Famine: +2/+2 and pro black and green is good, but +2/+2, pro black and green, AND untaping all your lands every turn is even better.

Shattering Spree: The one thing the deck really lacks is spot removal and Shattering spree is a really good way to kill a lot of artifacts for cheep. Blow up as many artifacts as you can make red mana.

Disenchant, Return to Dust, War Priest of Thune, Fiend Hunter, Banisher Priest: All great spot removal for artifacts/enchantments/creature.

Umm, you need creatues because no matter how many counterspells you have, in a 5-6 player game, someone's gonna get out some huge beater and you'll have maybe one blocker if Melek is out, and a 2/4 isn't much against a 16/16 Rafiq with doublestrike and trample. I strongly suggest adding creatures, if only so you don't get totally trampled over. Guttersnipe, Goblin Electromancer, Hypersonic Dragon, Niv-Mizzet, etc.

Immortal servitude is a great card for this but, it is white. I splashed white/green for my shadowborn EDH. That opens up a lot more removal for you to use on the artifact and enchantment fronts. It also let's you use those out of color cards like servitude, or bloodbond march.

Good but it has problems. For one, it has no responses to anything aside from Reiver Demon, Nefarox, and Reaper from the Abyss. You need ways to deal with problem Artifacts and Enchantments as well. You can never have too much mana so I suggest Cabal Coffers, Gauntlet of Power, Caged Sun, and Extraplanar Lens. Spine of Ish Sah, Black Sun's Zenith, Effects that make your opponents sacrifice permanents, anything that will remove non creature permanents. A way to re-use your Apostles is a good investment as well. Shirei, Shizo's Caretaker is wonderful.

Pretty good, but as most starting EDH decks do, it lacks responses. You need to be able to respond to any kind of threat to your board state as soon as possible. There are a lot of things you can do this with, but the first thing you should work on is your manabase. Good news: It's a mono black deck so you only need to buy Coffers. Bad News: It's a mono black deck so you need Gauntlet of Power, Extraplanar Lens, and Caged Sun. Liliana of the Dark Realms is also a good investment. With all 4 of those each of your swamps tap for 7 EACH. Now think of that with even 5 swamps on the field and an Exsanguinate in your hand. (Which is an excellent card and I highly suggest it.) Game. Spine of Ish Sah is great control. Replace Doom Blade with Shriekmaw. Xathrix Gorgon can shut down a lot of combo creatures or even just creatures that are problems for you. Geth's Verdict is a nice spell. Black Sun's Zenith is a must and Mutilate can remove just about every creature on the board late game.

Some things I suggest taking out are:
Staff of the Death Magus - Ok card at its best. Not worth the mana you put into it.
Conspiracy - Having things in your library you can't pull with Apostle is pointless. Conspiracy makes them Demons, but if you never draw it, all those become dead cards.
Corrupt - There are cards that do this for less mana, and do it better.
Gravepurge - If you spend up all your Apostles you can bring them back with this, right? No. If you bring back any significant number of apostles with this you will never draw anything for quite some time so your opponents don't have to worry about what you may or may not draw.
Archdemon of Unx - You should be sacing all your apostles to themselves, not this. a 6/6 flier that lets you tutor is MUCH more useful than a 2/2.
Demonic Taskmaster - This. Demon. Sucks. So. Much.
Nightmare - It gets real big, but there are better things to put in the deck than this.
Pathrazer - A fearsome creature if you can get it off but you can't pull it with Apostles so it's space better taken by something else.

No, I don't really have enough things in this deck for that to be an effective use of a card slot. All I have are the Hondens, which I will probably take out eventually, and Mirror-Sigil Which does not warrent having Haze by itself.

Nice! Lots of beaty-smashy creatures which is good for Stonebrow. Some cards I suggest are ones which remove enchantments and artifacts to take care of those if they get out of hand for your opponents, and on that note, boardwipes, like Jokalhops, or Decree of Annihilation. Mage Slayer and Vorrac Battlehorns are really fun artifacts which would help to buff up your things a lot, as would the rings (Ring of Vilkas/Kalonia). Asceticism will give all your creatures Hexproof and that's never a bad thing, prevents all those pesky doom blades. Triumph of Ferocity and Rites of Flourishing can give you some extra draws and ramps your mana base. Fling is a nice spell in a pinch in case someone blows up your biggest hitter, just sac it and burn them for its power.

I'm waiting for Tibalt to leave standard so he will finally be worth less than a dollar so I can make a deck centered around Tibalt. It is my dream. Soon, very soon, Tibalt will be worth 20 cents and my dream can then come true.
