The name of the game is UTILITY! Random Scenario: Skullclamp your Myr Retriever (to, say, draw a Kuldotha Rebirth and a Mountain) with Purphoros on the 'field to bring back a dead Perilous Myr. Cast that sucker. Let's just say you happened to equip Avacyn's Collar to it, with 3 Red mana floating in the pool, and then you cast Kuldotha Rebirth to sac the Perilous and get a Spirit Token. That's a viable turn 6 possibility.Because of Purphy and Perilous here, you've just dealt a whopping total of 14 damage. That's a fairly average turn with all the drawing, dying, and cycling that goes on with this deck. A surefire favourite of mine. Please try it! :)
