Deck discussion for Werewolfs.

This is quite a diverse deck you have here. I hope you don't mind if I give you a bit of advise, I do happen to own a swift werewolf deck myself, so I tend to know how these games run. But I won't be insulted if you don't take my advise. The first thing I would say to you is this: often times having multiple of the same card is much better than having four different one-ofs. Now this isn't always the case, but if you're running a werewolf deck you might consider more Kessig Forgemasters and Village Messengers. The second thing I would say is to get some more synergy cards. A deck often tends to work less effectively if there is less that ties a deck together. Cards I use in my werewolf deck include Moonmist, Mayor of Avabruck, Immerwolf, Full Moon's Rise, Moonlight Hunt, and Geir-Reach Bandit. Ulrich's Kindred, Spirit of the Hunt, Silverfur Partisan, and Howlpack Resurgance are also good options. These cards really help your deck cohere and the plays you make are all the more powerful. The last thing I would suggest is for a change in manabase. Now I would tell you to go and get a bunch of stomping grounds and Wooded Foothills and maybe one or two Kessig Wolf Runs, but as I understand it you're trying to build a budget deck and those just won't do for a budget deck. I feel you there, and I think a good choice could be maybe four Rootbound Crags replacing two forest and two mountains. Rootbound Crag is quite cheap, and quite effective in a duel colored deck. It can sometimes make all the difference. I hope you take my advice into consideration because I would really just love to see this deck become a potent force, and it would be interesting to see how it develops in relation to my deck. Happy hunting!
