Champion of the Parish is sure one of the most important cards of this deck. If you have one in your opening hand with Gather the townsfolk and 2 land, your are in bussinessFirst turn : Plains + ChampionSecond turn : Plains + gather the townsfolk... You now have a 3/3 creature along with two 1/1 on your second turn ! thats great ^^Use your enchantment on Phalanx Leader if you have it in play, since is ability will give a counter to all your creature on the field, including the Champion if it his in play.And as you can see, choosing the creature type : human, when you play Door of destinies will give all your human a big boost ^^So hope you like it and again, suggestions and comments are welcome ;p

Silverblade paladin is a decent card to look into. Nothing like getting one t3 and pairing it with a champion of the parish.
