Seems like a pretty rough deck to play against. However I'd take out battle-axes because you don't have many warriors to make full use of it. It would help get this deck down to 60 cards. Maybe get rid of Runes of the Deus and Knight of New Alara for boost cards to make double strike even more affective. Just some thoughts.

i like the idea and there are definitely some great cards in there. doublestrike is a sick ability.

some suggestions: cut it down to 60 cards. thats pretty important. also, you probably don't have enough lands. generalyl you want 20-24 lands in a 60 card deck.

to help with this, you could get rid of those borderposts (which are just nonbasic lands that have a mana cost) and add in 2 elfhame palaces and 2 shivan oasis (or you could add in taiga, savannah, or plateau, but those cost about $50 each if you're actually buying the deck).

also i would say that fireshrieker is a must-have for this deck. I like it more than double cleave, battle mastery, and obsidian battle axe, so you could take out one of those cards and put in fireshrieker.

feel free to check out and comment on my decks.

its a good deck, very solid in its theme. check out my deck that also uses double strike. I'd also like to suggest that you put in the card Rage Reflection (3RR - Enchantment - Creatures you control have double strike).

You should add in more cards that instantly power up your double-striker.
Why did you sideboard Colossal Might? This card is genious in Double-Strike Decks!
Giant Growth can be nice too.
A little bit control would be nice too, you can never run wrong with Lightning Bolt in red Decks.

Viashino Slaughtermaster would be a nice card too ... even if you can't use the ability with Black Mana, it is a 1/1 Double-Striker for 2 Mana.
Imagine you play him in second round, in third round you cast Colossal Might + Giant Growth on him and this whackedoodle does 16 damage if unblocked!

Wow thanks for the comments/information everyone. I'll definitely have to look into some of the things you all mentioned.

Regarding the borderposts, I have them in there because of the blades. If I can manage to play a borderpost on turn one, then I could have a 3/2 haste or 3/2 first strike on turn 2. Without them, I would have to wait until turn 3 to hopefully have 2 multicolored permanents out.

Okay, made some changes. Decided to increase my basic land count to 7 each (up from 6 each), and reduce the Wildfield Borderpost count by 1. I also removed the Bant Sureblade as a creature with First Strike doesn't help so much in a deck that is aimed at pumping cratures by giving them Double Strike. Also removed the Boros Swiftblade, as I felt I could get more for the 2 mana that it costs -- this came in the form of Wolly Thoctar. 5/3 for WRG that could be given doublestrike from other means seemed like a good choice. I reduced the number of double strike pumps by half -- instead of 4 Double Cleave and 4 Psychotic Fury, I went with 2 each. And lastly, I added Lightning Bolts and Naturalizes to my sideboard in case I need some creature/artifact/enchantment spot removal.

I'm thinking this is what I'm going to go with. I hope it works out! Any more feedback would be appreciated.

Maybe one more thing that will give trample, nothing better than killing their creatures and hitting their life points.
