Deck Description

I wanted to try and make a good deck based on the blue zombies. It may be underpowered as a result, but I wanted to keep it to this theme. Block constructed, stitched up zombies, the way Dr. Frankenstein would want. As the title suggests, this is just one version that I have worked on, and there are about eight in total. I decided to post this one, the only one that includes red mana as I feel it runs well and has a good speed to it.

How to Play

Mill your own deck and build up the bodies. Creatures become material for casting big zombies that will hopefully give your opponent some trouble. Faithless Looting and Thought Scour help the theme, while Nightbird's Clutches and Silent Departure add a bit of control. I chose those cards over others as they include Flashback in case they get milled which is likely to happen at some point. Other versions of the deck I have designed include focus on Rooftop Storm run more powerful creatures such as Skaab Goliath, but the issue I had with those versions, although fun, is that they are too inner focused, and therefore lack any responses to what your opponent is doing.

Deck discussion for Stitched Zombies 1.5

not bad, maybe add one or two Skaab Goliath for some extra muscle and it also goes with your theme

Thanks. Yeah as the title suggestions (and I'm going to update the deck description) it's one of multiple versions. I run Goliath in a few of them. I wanted this version to run a bit faster which is why I decided to drop Goliath. Aside from the mana cost, most of the creatures in the grave would likely be exiled for Skaab Ruinator. I might end up posting one of the other versions that's mono blue and does include Goliath as I was thinking earlier I do miss him.
