Deck Description

I wanted to try and make a good deck based on the blue zombies. It may be underpowered as a result, but I wanted to keep it to this theme. Block constructed, stitched up zombies, the way Dr. Frankenstein would want. I tend to favor the lesser played themes as they aren't as common which makes them more unique and interesting. It also presents a challenge in constructing a deck and I rather enjoy that challenge. As the title suggests, this is just one version that I have worked on, and there are about eight in total. This version is a bit slower then the others and more inner focused, but plays well and is a lot of fun. I made one other version public previously and it was rather well received so I thought I would share this version as well just for comparison and any interested in the blue zombies as I am.

How to Play

The idea is to mill your own deck and build up the bodies. Creatures become material for casting big zombies that will hopefully give your opponent some trouble. Once the storm is in progress, the zombies are free to cast other then the requirement to exile creatures from your grave. It's all rather straight forward and simple. Bottom line, it's about having fun with a good theme. May the stitched zombies prevail.

Yep. Deranged Assistant is in the sideboard for that exact purpose. If you feel its necessary, feel free to swap him out with anything else. In the previous design I didn't utilize Rooftop Storm at all and it isn't vital here, it's just nice to have.

Nice deck ( like) maybe you should add something that let you bring lands back from your graveyard, at leas on sideboard and cards to destroy enchantmens or artifacts that could exile your entire graveyard making your life harder

Thank you for the like good sir! Completely agreed, the biggest issue with this deck (more so than the easy counter via graveyard removal) is the fact that the theme requires you to focus so hard on your own deck, that you virtually have no way to deal with your opponent's board. The sideboard is currently other strong cards that can be swapped out for others but I agree that there needs to be more responses for your opponent. That's the tricky part about the Skaabs. Dispel isn't enough protection. Mana Leak and more direct removal would be great additions =]
