Deck Description

I saw many kinds of infect out there, and decided to make a 2nd turn kill infect deck of my own.
Turn 1. Forest or some decent green producing land. Glistener elf.
Turn 2. Mountain, assault strobe on the elf. After opponent declares blockers, groundswell before the attack is resolved. 10 Poison counters, GG.

I'm open to suggestions and would love to receive input before I invest a little into making this.

Deck discussion for Crazy Infect

Now, I don't intend this to be rude, but when you said one of your own, i expected something new. As for functionality..... It works, its quick and will combo I'd guess 4/5 times. In casual though its mundane, and in tourneys it is easy to disrupt. If you get get first turn, the combo can be wrecked from spell pierce mental mistep, dismember. And if you lose first turn, there even more ways to break it. And those are not including simply blocking.
I would switch out the ironclaw for rot wolf, and the revival for green sun zenith.

I understood it wasn't original. The zenith card would be nice, but it's extremely costly. I mostly play casually with friends, so I'm not too worried about counterspells. In tournaments, everyone runs counterspells. It actually makes for an unrewarding game time. If creatures block, people generally dislike blocking infect creatures because of wither. Because of this, the green instants have a huge sneak bonus. That's why ichorclaw is better than rot wolf. 3 wither counters are much less preferable than 1 poison counter.

if you start to play infect often enough, your casual group will learn there is almost always less risk in blocking, and thus will take 3 wither. With rot wolf, you can use a buff or two to keep it alive while maybe getting a card back from it.

It also costs 3 mana, which is slow for this deck's purpose.

Well then, how about Tezzeret's Gambit? I've always liked running 3 in an infect deck.

Hmmm, that's a good way to proliferate. I'll check into it.

" people generally dislike blocking infect creatures because of wither" With this logic, you should be running Ichorclaw Myr over Plague Myr. I'd also run more Inkmoth than just one.

I do run more ichors than plagues. Also, inkmoths are even more expensive than the Zenith card. I have my current one from a booster.
