Deck Description

Mostly stock build for my first EDH attempt while getting back into the game after years in and out.

How to Play

Pretty fundamental Goblin basics. Step 1: Get out a TON of cheap gobbies. Win option A: ATTACK! Win option B: Beef them all up with things like Quest, Oriflamme, Coat of Arms, etc. and then... ATTACK! Win option C: Create bajillions upon bajillions of gobbie mana and fire off a ridiculously massive XR damage spell Win option D: Mob/ Sac burn

Deck discussion for Krenko's Goblin Mob (EDH)

Jar of Eyeballs is nuts with the amount of tokens you generate. It will let you set up your deck however you want and draw any card in it.

Goblin Assassin will effectively cut your token generation in half but it will guarantee the opponent's boards are clear for you to swing in unhindered.

Blood Moon in tandem with your Goblin King would give most players mountains for more unblockable.

Are you able to function on 20 lands? I could understand maybe going as low as 25 since there's a lot of cheap creatures and goblin based mana but it still seems horribly low.

Good thoughts. You're most likely right about the lands as I was going back and forth in my head between 20 and 24/25-ish. I think I'm too used to a more "pure" goblin weenies casual I've played that runs 10-12 mountains for a 60-card deck and all of four cards at 3+ CMC (2 shenanigans, 1 warrens, 1 king). Now that I have few 3 and 4+ cards, though...

I hadn't thought about Blood Moon (and Magus of the Moon for a creature version), though it's definitely a good addition even if there wasn't the Mountainwalk potential simply because it can wreak havoc on a lot of EDH decks.

Jar of Eyeballs never crossed my mind and it essentially becomes a repeatable Goblin Recruiter.

Goblin Assassin's tough for me to add right away, but I'll definitely have to keep him in mind after I've test played the deck with the other changes. If I'm ever in need of wiping after getting to point of being able to cast him, he'll go in, but at the moment, it seems it's all about either him or Ib Halfheart... Hmm....

Are you allowed to have white in your deck if krenko is your commander?

Nice catch... The Boros Recruit is not allowed in the deck. It's not exactly good anyway though.

Thanks for that. Boros Recruit was a brain fart addition.

Like it! Krenko makes a great general, and this is a nice build for very little money.
