The combo of Black Knight / Vampire Hexmage and Basilisk Collar will be fairly potent. Pawn of ulamog will allow you to ramp mana along with your viridian emissary. I am unsure as to whether I should be running Ascetism or Darksteel plate. I feel Darksteel plate would be better if standard didn't include the scars of mirrodin block. I feel there would be too many solutions for this, and enchantments will be relatively ignored. Also ascetism can protect more of my creatures than darksteel plate. In addition, Ascetism will save my creatures from infect (if my understanding is correct). I could use a little input on that. The end of the game will come as soon as pestilence demon is out. Pestilence demon + Snake Armor or basilisk collar. He would provide either card draw or creature wipe for 1 B. The board wipe + Blade of the bloodchief is something I really lookforward to.
