No sideboard found.

The owner of this deck hasn't added a sideboard, they probably should...

Submit a list of cards below to bulk import them all into your sideboard. Post one card per line using a format like "4x Birds of Paradise" or "1 Blaze", you can even enter just the card name by itself like "Wrath of God" for single cards.

Deck Description

Infuser combos very well with both chimeric mass and everflowing chalice. Thrummingbird adds additional proliferate.

The 6 no cost artifacts, make sure that veldaken certarch is usable as well as etched champion.

Tumble magnet to keep creatures tapped down.

I decided to add white, for sun titan, and it also gives me some more utility out of Sun Titan. It also gives a big help against kuldotha rebirth decks, in the form of choking fumes. Pacifism adds a little more control.

Sword of feast and famine combined with thrumming is a slight copy of Caw go. But I like it, I do realize I don't have 4 birds coming into play, but oh well.

This is my first control deck, so any advice would be greatly appreciated. Also, I am trying to keep this in the Scars of Mirrodin block. It isn't necessary, but its a small goal.

Deck discussion for Vedalken Metalcrafting blues

I just recently did something similar to this called Vedalken Tumbletron. I think you should drop the wand and the argentum armor, but i dont know what to replace them with yet. You dont really have a solid win condition in here so id be looking for some sort of finisher.

Oh and to answer your question its not just whenever you play an instant or sorcery but when you play one and put a counter on the wand. Because for whatever reason you can actually choose to not place the counter on it after you play the spell. So in short the counter from the instant or sorcery triggers the damage, but the other counters will still add to the damage total.
