Gideon's sacrifice would be a good way to prevent losing a lot of troops in combat.

Hero of the Nyxborn, faerie guidemother and dreadhorde arcanist might be worth it in this deck as well. Nevermind on heroic intervention. I thought it was white.

Fireblade Charger would fit well in this deck. Great upgrade to footlight fiend.

I'm not sure where this deck is going. I get that it's spiders, but I have no idea how it wins when all it's creatures have way more toughness than power. Unless you are doing the card that makes creatures assign damage by their toughness. I feel like you are going to have a very hard time getting The Great Henge out on the battlefield.

What about Gideon Blackblade? I could see that working really well in this deck.

Outlaw's Merriment is so much fun. I've seen decks with 4 of those and it's rarely an issue. I'm not really sure what the core of this deck is trying to do. I see Feather, and Tenth District Legionnaire, but I don't see the cards that are typically in feather decks like Defiant Strike, Gods Willing and Tibalt, Rakish Instigator. Plus 1 feather is pretty low if you want to create a deck around that mechanic. Heroic intervention is one I could see in this deck as well.

I really like the idea here. Make creatures huge, fling them, then bring them back with nightmare shepherd, then fling them again. Plus lots of instants to keep them coming. I'd drop leyline for 2 more Judith's. Torbran would fit into this deck as well, increasing those 1 damage snipes to 3, and shepherd would make them much more difficult to fully remove. Id get rid of lash of thorns and add in more bedevil. Iroas's Blessing seems interesting but the 4 cmc is more than the two effects combined, so I don't think it is worth the cost. Minor amounts of edits could make this deck soar. I like it! Very unique!

For this deck, I would definitely say you need to add more Torbran (3 at least). Turning that 1 damage to 3 is huge. It also makes tectonic giant threaten 10 damage when he swings, which is nuts. I'm not sure the white spells you have in here are worth splashing white for. Tajic is fun, but you aren't using his ability to prevent all spell damage to your troops (like Storm's Wrath). Fateful End is pretty bad. Fire Prophecy is better, but I also like lava coil if you don't mind going at sorcery speed. Soul Sear if you are looking for more damage. Flame spill can be fun too.

If you are wanting to go a completely different direction, you could go with a Cavalcade of Calamity style deck. Then you could throw in cards like, Chandra's pyreling, Kiln fiend, invigorated rampage... Stuff like that. I know you like instant speed making creatures huge so those are good ones. Maybe even something that gives first strike so that you don't lose your creature.

I've seen decks similar to this before. I think they normally also run Spitemare and Stuffy Doll for more creatures. For spells, you are looking for things with high damage like Blasphemous Act, Shivan Meteor and Roast (for something cheap). Giving it indestructible is also helpful so you can do things several times. Darksteel plate might be the way to go with this deck, but white has several spells to give indestructibility for a turn. Good luck!

I have a deck kinda similar to this, and I love it. I think Dromoka's Command, Inspiring Call, and Feat of Resistance might all be worthwhile. Maybe Reap What is Sown could be useful for triggering more than one creature. I think that's superior to Travel Preparations because it's instant speed and all at once. Champion of Lambholt could help close out games as well but its a bit more spendy. Also, Arcbound Worker can't spread his counters anywhere, but Servant of the Scale can, so I'd probably replace those with that. Cool idea! I can see this deck winning quickly.

No Flametongue Kavu? You are missing out!

It would help this deck to slim down the number of ninjas and in their place add flying creatures with ETB effects like Sage Owl, Augury Owl and Baleful Strix. Either that or add creatures that are unblockable to guarantee that you will be able to hit players (or both). I would remove Vampire Cutthroat and Ornithopter for them, and maybe 2 Okiba's as well. Just a start.

I didn't realize Training Grounds was so expensive. Turn to Mist might be fun to shift your Venerated Teacher's out and have everyone gain more levels, but shifting a level up hero will cause it to lose its counters, so don't do that. Hyena Umbra might be good to protect creatures since you are sinking a ton of mana into them and offers cheap protection.

Cool deck! I would probably remove Kabira Vindicator since Time of Heroes does the same thing but only costs 2 mana instead of 19 to get all the way to level 5. I would replace it with Training Grounds, since that will reduce the cost of leveling up by 2 mana.

Good idea! I was thinking I needed more creatures, but wasn't sure what to sideboard. Thanks!

If I'm reading Nature's Panoply correct, it sounds like 1 mana, to put a +1/+1 on one creature, and 4 mana to put a +1/+1 on a second creature. In that case, Reap what is sown is a much more efficient source of counters.

Oh I missed that. I see now, attack, draw up to 7, gain that much life, repeat.

Might want to consider Retribution of the Ancients as an alternative to Quillspike. Same mana cost, but move as many counters as you want, and can pick off one of the opponents creatures as well.

That infinite combo makes you draw your whole deck, and then lose at the beginning of your next turn. You may also want to try some Vivid lands.
