The goal of the deck is to lock your opponent out of what ever they’re trying to do by using chalices, ensnaring bridges, and witch bane orbs to limit interaction so we can win with jaces and the thopter founders combo with Tezzerett to tutor up what ever we need at the time
With this deck you’re hoping to draw a lotus petal in your opening hand in order to slam down as much disruption as you can as fast as possible. Otherwise we have mindstone and mox opal for acceleration to slam some fat planeswalkers or to empty our hand on to the field for enairing bridge. The deck works best against midrange strategies, but can sideboard into a combo hozer. Does moderately well against agro. Great against control. Terrible against Tron, unless it’s eldrazi Tron.

Whir of Invention turned out to be the best instant Artifact Tutor we have for these. I played over 100 matches with any combination of those Stax decks in modern format. With Lotus Bloom on Turn 3 and some artifacts played before, you have your whole deck open for choice
