Well it seems that I will have to shark ebay to get a playset of bloodgast. I'll keep the Ghouls for now, but ill keep in mind the bloodsoaked champions. Thanks a lot for the advices!

Yeah bloodghast are really nice! But I really hesitate to switch between cards that cost (1) and cards that cost (2). You don't think it would slow the pace to much?
As for the Doomed Necromancer and the Hell's caretaker, I agree that the synergy with the Blood Artist is nice, but the casting costs of both cards are high. With the Killing wave, only 4 mana can win me a game with 2 or 3 Artists or copies on the battlefield, while I think this would be more mana expensive with a Doomed Necro or a Hell's Caretaker.
The switch between Bloodsoaked Champion and de Diregraf does seem like a good idea. But instead of paying (black) for the ghoul, I would have to pay (black)(1) for each of the champions. The graveyard cast is great, but it would be harder to resurect de Gravecrawlers, because they need another zombie in play to come back (since the champions aren't zombies and ghouls are...). And I realised, after many playtests, that the cast from graveyard hability in this deck is not a win condition at all, so I could even change the gravecrawlers for someting else entirely, the only conditions to that change would be a better synergy and an extremely low casting cost.
Just Wondering right now if I should switch two Desecration Demon for two Vampire Nighthawk
