You're not the first I've heard this from, I've designed many Eldrazi decks in the past. And cheating them into play is like cutting their heads off, why would you skip drawing four or taking an extra turn?
Not understanding how its cheating, you can only play in legacy, tough class. Simply don't use the amulet so you get the extra turn, or draw, etc... I guess I like having the option available. nothing wrong with having It that betrays in early turns. If im playing against an agro deck, and summoning emrakul with the amulet would mean the difference between losing and winning, I would swallow my pride. I have won several time by turn 3 with my eldrazi deck and its still nowhere near fast enough for some of the decks I've faced in legacy.
