I thought that Nikya of the Old Ways would be interesting to build with the stipulation of using only lands and creatures.
This deck has a very clear strategy... GRUUL SMAH!To do this you're going to go through a total of 3 steps:Step 1 - Ramp into Nikya. Keep in mind, the turn after you cast Nikya (provided she wasn't removed from the battlefield) you will have 10 mana at your disposal.Step 2 - Establish a card draw engine. With all the extra mana available you will be able to cast a lot of your hand in a single turn cycle, so keeping that hand full is very important. Being able to cast the top card of your library also falls into this categoryStep 3 - SMASH! aka swing in for lots of damage.A few key cards in the deck and some notable things about them:- Magus of the Candleabra: Early game helps you to fix your mana and after Nikya is on the battlefield it provides lots of extra mana.- Temur Sabretooth: This card will save you from board wipes! Also, combos with Moyjin of Life's Web to allow you to keep dropping all creatures in your hand onto the battlefield.
