Deck Description

This deck uses the versatility of both frost titan and acidic slime in combination with beast within to disrupt their mana sources. As this requires some ramp, that's exactly what this deck is about...

This deck has lots of cool little interactions! I have no card with CMC 3 as I do expect a consistent stream of 4 mana on turn 3, so there should be either simulacrum or thrun, then turn 4 we play either acidic Slime or Frost titan, dependant on which 4-drop, and then disrupt any threats on the battlefield. Wolf-run ramp has a serious issue when you destroy their lands before the titan comes out.

Turn 2 beast within, people! Don't underestimate that!. If the opponent doesn't have a 1-drop, this is very likely to pay off. And still, what if they get the beast? You should play like this:

Turn1: Forest, Birds of paradise.
Turn 2: Hinterland Harbor, Beast Within their land in his upkeep.
turn 3: Forest, Solemn Simulacrum, so you can block that beast, and get value.
Turn 4: Frost Titan, locking down a land or something else, or otherwise green sun's zenith for a slime or just play a slime, and kill a land. You are on turn 4 and your opponent has only 2 lands in play, while you have a frost titan out already!. Then backup the lead with mana-leaks (they are very effective when the opponent is low on lands) Snapcaster Mage can rebuy beast within to destroy another land, etc. You get the idea...

Good workings for a deck =) nice work. Ive been looking to try and build a deck based on this idea after i read an article on TCGplayer. Its a nice idea but with RDW being rife atm i have my doubts as to whether it can compete =/
