Being the monarch gives you a draw at the end of your turn. Anyone who deals combat damage to the monarch becomes the monarch. There's a token that explains this. This gives the game something fun to fight over other than just killing each other. Also after playing a lot of commander I find that when building a deck your commander should be more of a bonus not your win condition.

I enjoy you deck! love Nissa! What about the land Shrine of the Forsaken Gods could be good.
Personally I see a mill eldrazi deck being a lot of fun. Check out my deck not sure if you will get any ideas for yours, but it could be something you will have to face.

Derevi is one of the best Commanders I have played with and against. The decks not bad but I know it can be better. There is so much to say, but I hate typing so i'll just show you the Derevi deck I made for one of my friends. It has some of the funniest combos to kill people with. I have them all listed in the how to play... like a how to make infinite squirrel tokens...
