It's a shadow deck. Not many shadow cards out there.
My original idea is to include an overwhelming amount of stalling power, coupled with an army of fast swinging shadow creatures each turn. (Any sort of boost I could think of other than hatred functioned too slow, and prevented one or more shadow creatures from being dropped each turn). The spirit links and vampiric links can be played on either your creatures, or your opponent's depending on which would provide the most lifegain. Additionally, the eight additional one-drop stall cards (4X Paralyze, 4X Desire) means that they can be played early to cripple any real threat to your life total. While your opponent's creatures are swinging to gain you life, or remain "pacified" or paralyzed, the shadow mooks are plentiful enough to end the game quickly after a few turns of swinging. This deck will likely crumple to infect and directed burn damage, but I don't feel it's terrible for a 6 dollar deck of commons/uncommons.
