Deck Description

This is a Standard take on a Maze's End deck, with several ways to win. Less than $25, also. The Hold The Gates cards give REALLY good defense, +0/+1 per Guildgate.
Door to Nothingness is an alternate win condition. Drogskol Reaver or Gateway Shade are just mean.

How to Play

Cards for Mana ramp: Gatecreeper Vine, Urban Evolution, Unexpected Results, Maze's End, Into the Wilds.
Cards for extra draws: Staff of Nin, Drogskol Reaver, Urban Evolution.
Large hand size, to keep the extra cards: Reliquary Tower.
Strumgeist has more power with bigger hand size and also draws a card when he does damage.
Hold the Gates, Manor Gargoyles for defense.
Life gain, for Drogskol Reaver's card draw ability: Pontiff of Blight (gives all creatures Extort). Also Drogskol Reaver has Flying, Lifelink, and Doublestrike. Yeah!
Drogskol Captain can give Hexproof to the other Spirits.
Gateway Shade gets a +2/+2 power up with each tapped gate. Not too bad.
Doom Blade and Intrepid Hero for creature removal.

The Kryptonite to this deck is Burning Earth. Ouch, I don't need one damage every time I tap a nonbasic land. Need some removal for THAT card: Nevermore, Solemn Offering, Negate, Oblivion Ring.
