This is a slow mana deck, unless you get out the Amulet of Vigor. Best cards to play early are Gatecreeper Vine and Hold The Gates. If you have the High Priest of Penance out, buffed with Hold the Gates, you can ping it with Izzet Staticaster and destroy target nonland permanents, which is always fun. Another fun move is to have the Hornet's Nest. Block a high damage attack while buffed. You get a Flying Deathtouch insect creature token for each damage taken. Then if you can play the Titanic Ultimatum, you would give your flying army +5/+5 Lifelink and Trample for the turn. Cool!
