[[Huntmaster of the Fells]] and [[Immerwolf]] don't play well together. One wants to transform as often as possible, and the other prevents it from transforming.

Didn't past Blue Moon decks sometimes run [[Spreading Seas]]? Haven't seen Blue Moon in a while, so I'm not sure if anything has changed.

Seeing this, and the meta, makes me want to dust off my Ponza deck.

I do believe there is a difference between play % and win %

It'd have to be a land with that ability, otherwise is it's another non-land for [[Treasure Hunt]] to hit and does not contribute to the combo.

The other option is to swap [[Zombie Infestation]] and all the black mana out for red mana and [[Seismic Assault]] to turn each land drawn into a free [[Shock]].

KCI was difficult to pilot (I still don't understand some of its interactions), but the few who could pilot it properly proved how bad it was to play against. I think the trick revolved around KCI's ability counting as a mana ability, ie: can't be responded to.

Everyone had a sideboard for it and even that was not enough. A skilled KCI player knew how to manipulate game rules involving how KCI works in such a way that it got around most forms of hate, and even had a backup plan for the hate it couldn't work around in the form of [[Sai, Master Thopterist]].

[[Elvish Archdruid]], [[Elvish Mystic]], and [[Llanowar Elves]] all add mana, meaning you can skimp on some lands. With these creatures at their current numbers, I'd say it's safe to go as low as 19-20 lands.

This opens up space for some more utility cards and more elves. [[Collected Company]] is probably the best "draw" spell for you, but it's price tag ($) might be a bit much, so you could use [[Lead the Stampede]] in its place.

With this extra space you could also move [[Nissa Revane]] to the main deck.

[[Llanowar Elves]] is currently in Standard. And they're the iconic elf mana dork. So the price difference is not that surprising.

Maybe [[Elvish Promenade]] can take [[Colossal Majesty]]'s place? I've been playing Elves since Lorwyn / Shadowmoor and, especially in the earlier days, making a ton of Elves always felt good.
On the same note, finding space for [[Gilt-Leaf Ambush]] may be worth it. These two spells are Tribal, so they also trigger [[Lys Alana Huntmaster]].

Something that may interest you. I've yet to test this, but it looks like it'll do well.

[[Virulent Sliver]]'s Poisonous 1 ability is NOT Infect.

Poisonous X: "Whenever this creature deals combat damage to a player, that player gets X poison counter(s). A player with ten or more poison counters loses the game."

Infect: "This creature deals damage to creatures in the form of -1/-1 counters and to players in the form of poison counters."

So Infect /replaces/ damage to the life total with giving the opponent poison counters. Poisonous triggers when the creature deals normal life total damage and gives X poison counters /in addition to/ the normal damage.

If I could work in a way to get Hellbent easier, [[Slithering Shade]] would be better than [[Whip of Erebos]]. Thinking of dropping [[Dismember]] for something else that's cheap, which would help reach Hellbent a little easier. No actual discard, but actually playing out the had quickly. Maybe a pair of [[Dread Wanderer]] for more 1 drops that also take advantage of an empty hand.

Was trying to stay away from too many of the big "Devotion" cards ( [[Gray Merchant of Asphodel]] was too good not to include) as I wanted the Shades to be the focal point of the deck.
In a proper Devotion to Black deck would have a lot more value creatures, including [[Phyrexian Obliterator]].

Ye, the extraction cards are too expensive ._.
Luckily I have a set of [[Surgical Extraction]] already :)

[[Hydroid Krasis]] and [[Growth Spiral]] are the best reasons to add blue. But blue also opens up some other interesting cards, like Chemister's Insight, and / or the slew of counterspells (which could easily be sideboard or mainboard), like [[Absorb]].

[[Surgical Extraction]] and / or [[Extirpate]] are cheap (mana) cards that can force a shuffle. (NB: these can also hit nonbasic lands)

[[Archive Trap]] works well alongside [[Field of Ruin]], and it'd give a lot of targets for [[Surgical Extraction]] and / or [[Extirpate]].
