Sylvan Advocate gives its bonus to land creatures you control too, so I'm trying to make a deck where that matters. A 'man-land' is the perfect thing to get the bonus. Lumbering Falls and Hissing Quagmire are the only green ones in standard, so GU or GB where my options. I settled on Hissing Quagmire for two reasons. 1- it's cheaper to animate, and 2- Blue is my worst colour.
Sylvan Advocate and Embodiment of Insight give bonuses to land creatures.Embodiment of Insight and Elemental Uprising can animate lands. Hissing Quagmire animates itself. Nissa's ulti animates 6 lands, but that can take a while.Retreat to Hagra does a slow life drain, allowing you to live longer.Your creatures and animated lands are going to die, so Pulse of Murasa is a nice way to return them. Also, it gains you 6 life.Nissa's Pilgrimage and Explosive Vegetation help Sylvan Advocate come online, Nissa flip, and trigger Retreat to Hagra to trigger multiple times a turn.
