I wanted to make a deck in Modern that used Pestilence, but Pestilance itself isn't legal, so when I found my Pyrohemias and Kor Firewalker, I decided to do it this way.This is a rough draft that (if I ever get the cards for this) will be modified as playtesting is done.

I love this, but I have one possible suggestion run painter's servant now you can block all your opponent's creatures without worrying if they get killed not to mention they couldn't block any of your guys. If you have time can you check it's out.http://www.mtgvault.com/miles623/decks/flame-prison/

Ha ha ha. Painter Servant would be cool, problem is choosing what to replace it with. Without playtesting, I can't decide what does or does not work...
I agree i like painters servant, maybe a silver knight, pro red, but i really like the idea of pestilence
