Deck Description

The common fetch lands from The Streets of New Capenna are excellent for landfall triggers. So I decided to revive and revamp an old deck I used to play in Standard.

For the Explorer Players:
The following cards are not on Arena yet.
Omnath, Locus of Rage
(Sideboard) Jaddi Offshoot

Jaddi Offshoot is easy to replace. Kazandu Nectarpot is a 2 drop 1/3 that does exactly the same thing.

Omnath, Locus of Rage not being on Arena is a BIG problem. This Omnath is the whole reason for playing red in this deck.
I suppose you could use Scute Swarm or replace red with white for Felidar Retreat.
A mono-green build (with Scute Swarm as the second token maker) would open up Nissa's Pilgrimage as a way to get more forests into had to be played thanks to Swordtooth and/or Dryad.

How to Play

Main idea is to get Omnath, Locus of Rage and / or Zendikar's Roil out, the using the new common fetch lands from The Streets of New Capenna plus Fabled Passage to get multiple landfall triggers in a turn, thus making multiple Elemental tokens in 1 go.

Wayward Swordtooth and Dryad of the Ilysian Grove allow us to Play multiple lands a turn. Dryad also allows us to tap our fetch lands for mana. With Fabled Passage, this means we can use its to add mana and only activate it when we want a Landfall trigger. With the New Capenna lands, this let's us tap them for mana with their sacrifice trigger on the stack, so we have mana from them to use that turn.

Arboreal Grazer also allows for a once off additional land played. It also blocks well in the early game.

Ramunap Excavator and Ancient Greenwarden allow us to replay the fetches from the graveyard for even more landfall triggers. Ancient Greenwarden also doubles the Elemental creature tokens made.

I'm not sure on Cultivate or Vastwood Surge as we have Wayward Swordtooth and Dryad of the Ilysian Grove for extra land plays. On one hand, these land search cards get lands out of our deck, great for when we don't have extra lands in hand to play. On the other hand, with the extra land plays, we sometimes want to draw lands. Cultivate does put a land in hand, and Vastwood Surge can act as an Anthem (for 8 mana), so I'm keeping them in for now.
