Deck Description

Use Mimic Vat to get stupid creatures out for little to no cost to you! Originally made for a friend, but I decided to make it public.

How to Play

Cosmic Larva and Phyrexian Soulgorger are the deck's giants. They do the job of the other cards in the deck, just much faster! They can die on their own due to their abilities, Cosmic Larva being an either or, and Soulgorger being able to sacrifice itself on your next upkeep.

Another fun combo is being able to use Tezzeret's minus X ability for 0, grabbing a Lotus Bloom, and being able to use it immediately.

Deck discussion for Mimical Musings

Just to make sure you're aware, Mimic Vat only copies if the creature is put in the grave FROM the battlefield, not from your hand. :)

Whoops...
Regardless, Trading post can still act as a sac engine for wurmcoil mimics. The clone disappears, but the tokens that it spawns if it is killed to not.

Yea, that's actually a very good strategy if you can get it. Mimic Wurmcoil, haste swing for 6 lifelink, then sac him with Trading post to get two 3/3s and either draw a card OR get an artifact from your grave (since he's both a creature and an artifact). Very difficult to stop without an anti-artifact sideboard strategy.
