Deck Description

Standard Legal Blue/Black mill deck.
Uses low cost/high impact mill to target the opponents library and make them lose due to lack of cards. Chances are, not every game that you play will be perfect, but for those longer games, we have some higher costing cards that can have a huge impact on the game. Consuming Abberation, Mirko Vosk, Jace, Memory Adept, and Mind Grind are probably the best examples.
Good Luck and Have Fun!

How to Play

Mill them until you can't anymore.
Focus on protecting Consuming Abberation, Mirko Vosk, and Jace with those walls. If you don't want to spend a ton of money on Thoughtseize (I know I don't), Duress is pretty similar. You still see their hand, you still can potentially get rid of something you don't want to see on the field, and you don't lose that 2 health.

Deck discussion for Standard Mill, Feedback Wanted

I would add blue walls - Fog Bank, Wall of Frost. Taking out or Sideboarding Evil Twin and Lazav. If you get Jace out and active for 2 or 3 turns you win, so make the deck more protective for him, unless they are playing Elixir of Immortality then be more agressive with the creatures. Chronic Flooding is weak unless out on turn 2 or he is playing 4-5 colors. Maybe some countering / bounce in its place. Hope this helps.

One problem I've always had with Discard Decks is my opponent's love for countering all my spells, so throw in some Cancel's or Spell Syphon's (There's probably better counter spell's so don't quote me for exact cards) in your sideboard at the very least.
Memory Erosion's a good way to keep your opponent on his toes and much more cautious with his actions.
If you ever wanted to be active in attacking as well as Milling, Trepenation Blade is a great tool to use, especially with Invisible Stalker, including Mindcrank.

You threw out some really good suggestions, but I want to keep it standard legal. If I was going for extended/modern, I would surely have a mindcrank in here, but it wasn't reprinted. I was thinking about making one for extended when I have the time, but its not high up on my to do list. The counter spells I threw in sb, but I will more than likely fit into the deck some how. Right now Invisible stalker is in there with paranoid delusions, but trepanation blade should work nicely as well. Thanks!

nice deck, here are my ideas:

-3 murmuring phantasm
+1 Mirko Vosk
+2 Consuming Abberation

I made some changes to both the main deck and the sideboard, tell me what you think! I don't like how Consuming Abberation and Mirko Vosk are 5 mana, but I do want it to be standard legal. Which reminds me to change the sb again. xD
