Deck Description

Green/Black Standard Deathtouch Deck.
Comments and suggestions are appriciated and encouraged.

How to Play

Keep your opponent at bay with all of your deathtouch as you pick off their creatures with Deadly Allure triggering Skirsdag High Priest. Otherwise just build up enough creatures that you can overrun them with Predatory Rampage for the win. If you don't kill them in the first attack, you will the second because they shouldn't have any blockers left except for the one that they play on their turn.

Deck discussion for Standard Golgari Aggro

Its games like what possibly happen with this and could take a bt to actually play a game and its rather creative! Kudos! Though i feel like it may be a fun deck to play against as well as with. Though if your going for modern i have a suggestion of grave pact and grave betrayal. if you get one of each out its fun because you steal the creatures they sacrifice.

Thanks for the compliments. This deck was a standard deck, but since it isn't in standard anymore I see no reason in not converting it. Grave pact is interesting, and I really like the look of Grave Betrayal. I'll look in to changing the deck. Thank you.

Not a problem. i have to say its a little sad that something like this deck which is pretty creative isn't more appreciated in my opinion to say the least. i had only started playing as new phyrexia came out but since i joined this site I've been getting a bit annoyed with basically seeing the same decks over and over. and i actually use the pact betrayal setup myself in my black deck. it gets to he really annoying for opponents when you add a sacrifice outlet to it like garruk relentless

I see how they're a nice combination with eachother. I wonder if there's a good way (other than Dark Ritual) to make Grave Betrayal more affordable mana-wise. Garruk typically does really well in this deck, partially because he doesn't get killed as quickly and partially because he's solid especially in this kind of deck.

This deck was actually a product of a previous deck I made being too effective at what I wanted it to do. In the original mono-green version, my goal was to make the consequences for attacking me to great for it to be worth it. I pulled it off, and couldn't finish a single round of most of my FNM matches with it. This was because my opponent wouldn't go for the win, and I didn't have much of a means to win myself. By the time I had a stable enough board to attack, there was no way to get past my opponents creatures. If you want to see that mess-of-a-deck you can find it here:

Beautiful deck If I may say. The only suggestion is to replace sluiceway scorpion with Reaper of the Wilds.
maybe I'd run 4 artists and Mutilate / Killing wave, nice shutdown.
And you may also consider morbid cards like Caraval vigil, Tragic slip or Hunger of the howlpack as creatures will be dying a lot. :)
