I would:-1 Hellkite Tyrant -Doesn't really fit theme -3 Precinct Captain -Doesn't really fit the theme. Yea it gets tokens but this doesn't seem to really be a token deck -3 Sunhome Guildmage -Boros Guildmage is better in my opinion -3 Pyretic Ritual -Bad-3 Blind Obedience -Doesn't fit theme-4 Angels Mercy -Its not very good-2 Assemble the Leigon -You want to be ahead before this ever becomes an option -1 Gideon - I know, hes cool, but hes not really something I see this deck wanting or needing +3 Boros Guildmage - It looks like you want the first strike in here so this helps with that+4 Skyknight Legionnaire -This card has won more games for me in Boros than any rare I have ever seen. Pump it and run +2 Lightning Helix -Move from sideboard to main I would also look at Boros Swiftblade as a solid creature. I would also suggest fixing your flood of 1 and 2 ofs in this deck as it breeds inconsistency. If you wish to see my boros build look in my decks for some ideas. I would go an agro burn mix with this set of cards you're showing. Things such as assemble the legion and hellkite tyrant are too slow for a build that needs to maximize damage early. I would also suggest slimming to 60 cards
Opinion is valid. Were this my tournament deck, i would look into the overhaul. this deck is mainly for tabletop games so im not overly worried about power. Legion and tyrant are for late game table. i would swap them out for other things if i brought it to a modern tourny. Also, the tokens are for the Westvale abbey
It just seems to me that this deck is trying to do too much. Trying to bring out big creatures, produce tokens, burn etc. I play pretty much completely casually ( with a draft tournament once in a while) but even then I think one to two mechanics is where a deck operates the best. I love Boros. It is easily my second favorite guild after Dimir.
boros is ok. im a rakdos player personally. The tyrant is there just because i need a big late game flyer. the token spam is there partly to spam, and partly to feed the westvale abbey.
Yea rakdos is ok not really my favorite. Personally this deck could avoid late game altogether if you unboarded the burn. I don't think westvale is really necessary either. Then again these are just my opinion. Best of luck on this!
