vampire's with the new standard in mind. and a side that should help in most cases against most opponents. Whole idea behind deck is to try and get as many vampires on the field, with curse of stalked prey on your opponent and keep attacking to get more +1/+1 counters as poss on your creatures with cards like volt charge and Tezzeret's Gambit to proliforate with for more counters faster. i personally think there are some better 1 drop blacks out there but cant use them in standard check out my other vamp deck using standard and 2011 cards :D http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=251150 hope you all enjoy and have fun Can0n.

i like your deck for the most part my only issue is not having a cheap way to hit your opponent with something so the next vamp let alone the bloodlord of vaasgoth to hit play with 3 +1/+1 counters, do your attacks usually get through or do you rely on volt charge to net the bloodthirst effect? though now that i look at it I might try to play test a bloodlord deck with bumps in the night and geistflame, I know their not recommended in decks for standard but it might work out... 3 mana for a 5/4 child of the night yeesh.

on the most part i find my attacks get through or the opponent gets pretty desperate to block they end up throwing away monsters without thinking, also a good surprise hit with a volt charge to kill the monster blocking ur way always helps :D although i have been thinking of alternate cards for despite whoever i cant place what i would like there as mana curve is pretty good and don't want to disrupt it too much.
just another note anotheer good way to get bloodthirst if you dont get an attack is with Olivia Voldaren's effect as it does deal 1 dmg too :D
bloodthirst only triggers if dmg is done to an opponent she only targets creatures... though she could clear a path given enough mana for your attackers
hurp durp blonde moment :D haha yeah my bad however stealing there monster is never bad although i am gonna play test the deck with bump in the night in instead of despise as same mana cost but might annoy me as ill have less to do on turn 1 but will see :D
