Play creatures always when you can, except for Avaricious Dragon, which is best played when you have emptied your hand. Other than that, it is ENCOURAGED to use damage spells to kill opponent's creatures or just damage him, if he has no creatures in play. The main goal is to get Harness the Storm, Fevered Visions, Forgotten Creation or Sin Prodder out, so you get more new cards each turn, then after 4-6 lands in play, can start double-shooting them into opponent's face because the Harness' ability. TiTi and Ava Dragon are also good beaters, and can cause your opponent a bad headache if left unanswered.

Play 4 lightning bolts instead of one of your burn spells, possibly take out twin bolt, if your looking to take out two creatures with toughness 1, just run dual shot.
