Deck Description

This is a new concept for the Spheric Victory deck I've been working on for a while. I ran into the Eidolon of Rhetoric/Possibility Storm combo and fell in love.

How to Play

It's a very simple idea. Get down a win condition: Jace, Chandra, Blind Obedience, Heliod or Keranos (Assemble the Legion in the sideboard). Then, after a quick look at the board, to make sure that you're stable, you drop the Rhetoric/Storm combo. While they're out together, they prevent ANY player from successfully resolving a spell that is cast from hand. If you're not with me, allow me to explain the combo:

Eidolon of Rhetoric only allows players to play one spell per turn. Simple enough. Possibility Storm will exile any spell that played from a hand and exile it. You reveal the top cards of your library until you reveal a card that shares a card type with the spell that was exiled by Possibility Storm. You are given the opportunity to cast the revealed card BUT it would be the second spell you've cast this turn (Possibility Storm already exiled the FIRST spell you tried to play, the revealed card will be your SECOND spell), and Eidolon of Rhetoric will not allow for you to cast it.

If you have Rhetoric/Storm with a Jace or Chandra out, you can get around the Possibility Storm lockdown by using Jace's -8 or Chandra's +0 (they do not trigger Possibility Storm's static effect because you don't play those cards "from your hand" like Possibility Storm is looking for).
